2G TXT Privacy Policy

The 2G TXT messaging service ("TXT Service") is a separate feature of the 2G PHONE app. This Privacy Policy applies exclusively to the TXT Service and is separate from the 2G PHONE Privacy Policy. Article 1 (Information We Collect) ① Virtual number: A system-assigned identifier used to send and receive messages. ② Nickname: The display name shown to other users (set by the user). ③ Message content: The body of sent and received messages. ④ Friend connection data: Friend list, request history, and block status. ⑤ Device information: FCM token used to deliver push notifications. ⑥ Usage logs: Message send timestamps and read timestamps. ⑦ Firebase UID: Encrypted ID value from Firebase. Article 2 (Purposes of Collection) ① To provide virtual-number-based message sending and receiving. ② To process friend requests, acceptances, and rejections. ③ To deliver unread message notifications. ④ To review reported messages and maintain service safety. ⑤ To comply with legal obligations (e.g., cooperation with law enforcement). Article 3 (Retention and Deletion) ① Message data: Automatically deleted after a maximum of 180 days from the date of transmission. ② Friend connection data: Deleted immediately upon removal of the connection. ③ FCM tokens: Deleted immediately upon logout or account deletion. ④ Upon account deletion: All TXT-related data, including virtual number, messages, and friend data, is deleted immediately. ⑤ Data subject to a legal retention obligation will be stored separately for the required period. Article 4 (Third-Party Disclosure) The TXT Service does not share personal information with third parties as a matter of principle. Exceptions include: ① Cases where the user has given prior consent. ② Lawful requests from law enforcement authorities under applicable law. ③ Disclosure to infrastructure providers (e.g., server hosting) essential for service delivery. Article 5 (Message Security) ① Messages are encrypted in transit using HTTPS (TLS). ② Server-side messages are accessible only to authorized operations personnel, and only when necessary (e.g., for reviewing reported content). Article 6 (User Rights) ① Message deletion: Users may request deletion of TXT data via Settings → Delete Account in the app, or by contacting support. ② Unfriending and blocking: Users may remove or block any contact at any time. ③ Access and correction: Users may submit requests to the operations team at support@2gphone.com.
